The Easter Cantata will be on Palm Sunday, April 9th during the morning worship service. The Chancel Choir will present No Greater Sacrifice-Remembering Christ’s final days & ultimate gift of love (Music by Larry Shackley and Lyrics by Pamela Martin). This music is a thoughtful review of the last days of Jesus’ earthly life as He prepared Himself and His followers for that which was to come. It is a poignant look at the Master as He fulfilled the call of God and became the sacrificial Lamb. The inspirational blending of music, lyrics, and narration provides the framework for a most meaningful worship experience. Beginning with the Palm Sunday entrance into Jerusalem and concluding with the resounding refrain “Worthy Is the Lamb!”, this piece is designed to take you through the final days of Christ in a very powerful way.
