The Festival of Sharing books are here! It will look a little different this year, since the format has changed. Feel free to let Frances Deaton know if you find something of particular interest or have questions about what we contribute.

In addition to Festival of Sharing, there is a great opportunity coming up to raise money for A Safe Place, the women’s shelter. The event is called Designer Bag Bingo and will be held May 4, 2018 at Villa Antonio Winery in Hillsboro. Advanced seats are $30 per person or $240 for a table of 8. If you just show up that day, it will cost $35. The way it works is the winner of each round of bingo (and there will be 12) will receive their choice of a designer handbag. And yes, you can purchase additional bingo cards. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Doors open at 6 PM and play begins at 7 PM. If you’d like to play, and don’t have enough for a full table, let the church office know. We’ll try to connect anyone that wishes to participate.

In the past, St. Andrew’s has collected used printer cartridges for PonyBird. PonyBird then gets paid for the cartridges that they recycle. If you have used printer or toner cartridges, please bring them by the church office. There’s a basket where those items are stored until we have a good amount to deliver to PonyBird.
