Vision: The Missouri Conference will relentlessly lead our churches to become outwardly focused and spiritually centered Christ followers.
This month, we’ll focus on Pathway Out of Poverty. The goal is to increase the percentage of churches that partner with local school districts from 10% to 40% to raise student reading levels by June 30, 2019.
There is an assessment tool for local churches seeking to deepen and grow their school-church partnership. The Partnership Profile identifies key elements for developing school-church partnerships. Each descriptor offers measures to help local churches evaluate and determine the status of each key element in their school-church partnerships. Utilize this tool to gauge where our church is in developing a partnership that is based on relationship and not a transaction of goods.
The conference also provides a myriad of resources for literacy programs and implementation.
