Thank you for donating Valentines. We were able to distribute 75 boxes to local schools. We received communications from schools that there were smiles on students’ faces when the boxes went home from kids knowing they would have them to give to classmates at school parties. The teachers wanted us to pass on the joy you gave these students.

We received a request from a nonprofit in Columbia, Missouri asking for sewing machines. The organization is looking for sewing machines that are no longer needed or perhaps in need of repair. The group refurbishes them and sends them to poorer countries. The women in these places use them for their families and some even sew for others as a source of income.

Mobility Worldwide will pick up any sewing machines, so please drop them off at the church if you have any that you’d like to donate. Please have them here by the end of March.
