This year the “Family Day @ the Ballpark” sponsored by the United Methodist Men has been expanded to two dates; May 25, 2019 against the Atlanta Braves and August 24, 2019 vs. the Colorado Rockies. The Cardinals have strengthened their team going into the season and are one of the co-favorites in a very strong division.

The first date is a 6:15 game on Memorial Day weekend, and the District Superintendent is encouraging local churches to solicit donations to cover the ticket price of children/family of deployed members of our armed forces.

This is a Methodist and friends event so don’t hesitate to invite folks from outside the church. Local businesses may be willing to join us or to support our veterans with donations.

Tickets are given on a first come, first serve basis, but what is really needed right now is someone from St. Andrew’s who will coordinate our ticket orders. If you are willing to make this a part of your spring activities, please let the church office know. Ticket requests for the May game are due May 1st, and the church office has all the information and forms for requesting tickets…just need the person to Captain the effort.
