The Chancel Choir brings beautiful music to the congregation every Sunday. However, they will be doing an Easter Cantata on April 14, 2019 during worship. You Are the Christ! by Lloyd Larson provides an insightful look into the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus based on the special bond between Peter and Jesus. Jesus once asked, “Who do you say that I am?” It was Peter who immediately replied on behalf of the disciples; “You are the Christ!” With narration by Peter Faust and the voices of our Chance Choir, you will be sure to enjoy this moving and personal reflection of Jesus through the eyes of perhaps his most devoted follower.
The Chancel Choir will also perform a piece at the Maundy Thursday service. This will be at St. Andrew’s at 7 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Sugar Moon is back with two April dates.
- April 11 from 5:30-8:30 PM at Coyol on Highway 21.
- April 26 from 5-8:30 PM at LaPachange in Herculaneum.
Be sure to come out to support Sugar Moon and enjoy good food at the same time.
Music will start back up the farmers’ market in May. This will include some talents from our congregation. More details will be shared in the May newsletter.
