St. Andrew’s is again partnering with the University of Missouri Extension to offer food preservation workshops. If you’ve never home canned or it has been a while since you last canned food, this workshop series is for you.
The first workshop will focus on making jams and jellies. It will be held on Wednesday, June 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm. There is a $15 fee and reservations are required. You can reserve a spot by emailing MU Extension at jeffersonco@missouri.edu or by calling 636-797-5391.
This workshop is being taught by Leslie Bertsch, a Field Specialist in Nutrition and Health with MU Extension. It will focus on canning basics and demonstrate how to make and safely preserve jams and jellies using the steam canning technique. Registration required by June 21st!
