Vacation Style with the Food Pantry


It is that time again when you just never know who you’ll see (or not see) at church. We call this season: vacation! Many families are packing up suitcases, crates, and bags for vacations and weekend getaways. Please remember that the food pantry still needs food donations at this time of year. As an easy way of remembering what is needed, please “pack” for the food pantry as well as vacation. Fill up a bag, box, or tote with boxed food items such as:

  • macaroni and cheese
  • Cheerios or other cereal
  • Hamburger Helper
  • Jiffy
  • Pancake mix like Bisquick
  • crackers
  • pasta (with or without seasoning)
  • rice (with or without seasoning)
  • stuffing mix
  • packaged oatmeal
  • Cream of Wheat
  • granola bars
  • ginger snaps
