Is coming to St. Andrew’s own backyard

Terry Neckermann is organizing our church picnic this autumn. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, October 6, 2019 at noon.

There will be fellowship, fun, barbecue, and games with prizes for the kids. This will take place on the lower, grassy lot and parking lot, with games in the fenced yard or lower parking area.

Some help is needed to make the picnic a success. The church will provide and prepare the meat for the picnic. Donations to defray the cost would be greatly appreciated. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be grilled on site. Please bring your favorite picnic or potluck dish to share. Cold drinks, cups, ice and coffee, along with paper products and utensils will be provided.

Anyone who wants to sit down to eat and relax that day should plan on bringing a lawn chair. You can even bring an extra one in case someone forgets. Of course, in case of rain, we’ll move inside.

To help this plan work and be more comfortable, a few other items will be needed. Pop-up tents are the largest items, but a complete list is posted in the fellowship hall. Please commit to providing at least one item or helping in some way.
