For the last several years, the Gateway Region has been doing fall learning events. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 9:30am-11:30am at Centenary UMC in Bonne Terre. The District Superintendent hasn’t shared speaker information yet, but that should be available soon. Last year, Bishop Farr spoke and did a great job. In addition to a main speaker, Linda Harris will say a few words, and the event kicks off with a praise service.

This does fall on the same date as Trick or Treat Main Street in DeSoto, so you’ll have to arm wrestle your spouse or draw straws to see who gets to go to Bonne Terre and who has to take the hobgoblins out that morning.

Registration is required, and once that information becomes available, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, if you’re interested in going, mark the date on your calendar and let the church office know of your interest.
