The church will be sponsoring a Little Free Library for children. The library will be located at the farmers’ market on Main Street and was lovingly made by Bob and Bryanna Alexander.

We are accepting donations of children’s books; new and gently used!

This will be an excellent opportunity to serve the children in our community. The library will be installed sometime in October, so please drop your books by the church sometime before the end of the month.

The Missouri Annual Conference is offering grants for churches to sponsor these free libraries for children. After we successfully install and complete a Little Free Library, we can apply for a grant to cover the construction, materials, and installation of another one.

Please consider if this is a mission you are willing to support. Please also consider supporting it on a regular basis; perhaps you and your family are willing to donate one book every other month or quarterly. If you aren’t able to actually go purchase a book, please consider contacting the church about specific titles you might like to see in the library. Those suggestions are helpful and will contribute to the ministry as well.
