This year we are finding new ways to help our families.
We will be having our 2020 version of the Mitten Tree. Please drop off your donations of mittens, gloves, scarves, and hats for local school children. In this difficult time, our children are in greater need of our help. The school will help ensure that children have access to the warm items you donate. Since there won’t be a tree or ladder at the back of the Sanctuary to clip your items onto, you can leave them in the bins outside the church office.
We will also be taking monetary donations for the families at A Safe Place. Those funds will be used to purchase Christmas presents and necessary items for the children living there. If you are able and like to bake, we will be sending Christmas cookies and candy for the families to enjoy as well. Contact Frances if you’d like to help with this.
