A Safe Place emergency domestic violence shelter has been providing services for over 33 years in the Greater St. Louis area. A Safe Place provides advocacy, therapy, and education to help break the cycle of violence, while offering life-enhancing skills to empower women and children to live productive, healthy lives. Since most of the women and children come to A Safe Place with very limited resources, we do not charge for our services. We rely on donations, grants, and fundraisers to help make a difference in the lives of those escaping violence.
