Calling children with courage

Compared to Bible heroes and superheroes, it may seem like a regular kid might not have courage. But in this series, we’ll learn what courage really is and how God can empower all of us when we trust in Him. Lessons drop every Wednesday right here.

Courage is bravery in the face of fear, doing what’s right even when no one else is, never giving up on the directions God has given us, praying to see God’s promises come true, and giving up everything in our lives as a sacrifice to Him.

March is all about Courage.

Week 5: Courage lives for Jesus

Mark 8:34: If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.

God gives me courage to live for Jesus.

Week 4: Courage doesn’t quit!

Galatians 6:9: So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

God gives me courage to never give up.

Week 3: Courage prays

James 5:16 The prayer of a godly person is powerful. It makes things happen.

God gives me courage to pray with power.

Week 2: Courage does what’s right

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on guard. Stand firm in faith. Be courageous. Be strong.

If you feel afraid, you don’t have to back down! God’s courage will strengthen you. Do what’s right!

Week 1: Courage faces fear

Psalm 56: 3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

God gives me courage to face fear. Trust God’s power to give you courage to face anything that makes you afraid! God is bigger than fear, and He will give us the courage to face it.
