Food Pantry for October

The congregation at St. Andrew’s has long filled a gap area with the food pantry. When items are running low, they either take in those items by donations or purchase them based on their available funds. Purchasing items is something that they like to keep to a minimum, and that’s where you enter the scene.

Anyone can grab a can of green beans from their cabinet and drop it in the donation box outside the pantry or at the library. That’s not what we do! We get a list of necessary items that fill the gap between what is needed and what is generally donated. During October, we need to focus on canned tomatoes, dry goods (like beans and pasta), and canned chilli. Drop any of these items off during October, and we’ll get them to the pantry to restock items that are running a bit low.

You can also purchase items from the pantry’s Amazon wish list by clicking here.
