We did a great job with the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and assorted morsels for the food pantry in November. Our original goal of 40 became 60 when another church decided they couldn’t provide as many as they had hoped. We wound up with a total of 87 bags! There were also a few assorted items to go with those. Way to go!
The pantry received a huge donation of canned tomatoes recently, but they are running a little low on cereal. They’ve indicated that both cold and warm cereal would be a good item for December, so we have a goal of 50 boxes of oatmeal, dry cereal, farina, etc. If you find it on the cereal isle at Schnucks, it would probably be fine to donate during December.
Bring your donation to the table at the end of the hall, and if you’d like to make a monetary donation, you can do that by noting the amount with the memo “food pantry”.
