Fenway Park opened in 1912 and remains the oldest Major League Baseball stadium still in use. The park has the shortest distance of any field in baseball to left field (310′) and right field (302′). Because of the Green Monster though, it isn’t known for being advantageous for home run hitters. That 37′ wall gets in the way of a lot of hits. If we’d been swinging in Boston for our outreach in November, we still would have hit a homer! In fact, with bases loaded, it would have been a grand slam.

Once again, your generosity and compassion for God’s children has been amazing! The amount collected for the Jefferson County Foster Children’s Fund will truly be a blessing. The kids will be able to enjoy a great Christmas party in the midst of so much turmoil. A total of $686.77 was collected. That smashed our goal of $500 and exceeded our expectations.
