Since the Missouri Annual Conference has gone through redistricting, we find ourselves grouped into the Southeast District that includes churches from Arnold all the way south to Arkansas. The logistics of planning our Charge Conference meeting has been made a little more difficult because of the vast geographic expanse, especially since they have been moved to January, when travel can be unpredictable in Missouri. Four options were provided for us, and at the last Administrative Council meeting, we selected and approved the January 22, 2023 meeting. The best part: we’ll be attending the meeting virtually at 3 PM that afternoon. We can gather at church and join together, or we can join from our homes using the virtual meeting link. Since this will be a new experience for us and the district staff, there might be some hiccups. That’s okay. We’ll get those worked out. However, if you’d like to take part in the process, which usually includes some sort of worship or learning opportunity, please contact the church office.
