We are slowly progressing with the updating of the parsonage. The walls of the kitchen have been painted, and the cabinets have been painted. We are now in the process of putting them back together. We have the flooring ready to install; and the bill for the flooring has been paid. However, the labor for installation has not been paid. Our parsonage fund is low. Please consider including a donation designated for the parsonage. We are appreciative of the funds that we have received, but we are not finished yet.
Our thanks to Stan Fauth, Stokely Wischmeier, and Jim Foster, builders of the new surround placed in front of the church that is concealing the HVAC equipment. It has improved the attractiveness of that area. Stan says it still needs to be painted, and the painting will be added to the work list for the NOMADS. The NOMADS, Mission Volunteers, will be at St. Andrew’s beginning October 3. They will be painting the frames of the windows of the education wing, our kitchen, and fellowship hall. Replacing the tread on the back steps will be another of their activities. They are to be here three weeks. They travel with RVs and will be camped at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. They volunteer their labor. We are paying for their parking fees and the supplies necessary to complete their projects here.
Our parsonage and our church building have needed necessary repairs for sometime.
