Hosting Fellowship Time

Fellowship Time has moved to after the worship service, although there is usually a cadre (those specializing in coffee consumption) gathered prior to worship as well. Others have been asked to host the fellowship after worship though, and that can be uncomfortable for someone who isn’t a whiz in the kitchen or who isn’t knowledgeable about how to make coffee or even where items are stored in the St. Andrew’s kitchen.

Since individuals might be new to hosting fellowship and everyone is out of practice anyway, notes have been put together to help guide you through the process. The notes let you know where to find things, like platters, paper goods, coffee, the fire extinguisher, supplies for clean-up, and more.

The kitchen at St. Andrew’s is also utilized by other groups, and Rotary, for example, has their own supplies that should be left for them. The notes will let you know where everything is and let you have confidence in hosting fellowship time, should you chose to sign up. It will also help us ensure that when we run low on items, supplies can be gathered for the next host or hostess.

The Notes for Fellowship Hosts and Hostesses can be found here, and a copy will be left in the basket by the phone in the kitchen too. This way the copy will be handy for anyone who needs it.
