The total amount that we owe in Conference, District, and Special apportionments in 2019 is $18,705. Our Conference Apportionments are $17,088; District Apportionments are $1167; and we have agreed to $450 for the year to go to the Mozambique Initiative. In an effort to increase the percentage of apportionments that we pay, we will highlight some of the funds that we give to.
Our lowest apportioned amount goes into the Interdenominational Cooperation Fund: $63 this year! This fund does exactly what it says; helps us celebrate and assist with work being done by other Christian fellowships.
Your giving makes shared ministry through Christ’s body possible today. Because of it, The United Methodist Church is able to partner with other Christians to witness together to the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

Next up is the Africa University Fund. At just $72 for the year, it has an incredible reach. The university hosts a number of different nationalities and has a goal of educating ethical and morally grounded leaders for Africa. Some of the first graduates are now fulfilling that mission and encouraging others to follow in their educational footsteps.
