Prayer is important. Christians know that it is a vital part of our relationship with God, but we don’t always know how to approach prayer, what to pray, or if we’re doing it right. (And don’t comment that “there’s no wrong way to pray”.) Being comfortable praying in front of others and with others is something most adults decline to do because it’s uncomfortable.
Let’s start a journey.
Let’s improve our prayer life and begin to fill our arsenal with prayers that we can whip out in any situation and with anyone! During the month of May, we’ll be taking one small step in the right direction: consistency. We’re going to pray at the same time each week; on Tuesdays. And although we aren’t meeting for these prayers, we can all pray for the same thing. And the barrier for participation is so low! We’re only going to ask you to pray for 1 minute.
Topics for May

How to get reminders
Loads of people have a smartphone now. Let’s use them to grow our faith. Set an alarm for every Tuesday at 1:00 PM. When that alarm goes off, set a timer, and pray for 1 minute. If you want to be reminded about these topics each Tuesday, sign up for text notifications from church. We’ll send you a subject to pray for each Tuesday, and the reminder just might arrive at 1 PM. Directions to receive text messages are below. (Both options should work with a smartphone.)
