National Bean Day might be in January, but we need to think about beans in July. The food pantry item for this month is canned beans. Wait! We are not talking about canned green beans. We’re talking about legumes: kidney beans, lima beans, cannellini beans, great northern beans, black beans, pinto beans, refried beans…the list…
