Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland and a lot of other countries, is also the namesake for our church. St. Andrew’s Day is traditionally celebrated on November 30th since that marks the day of Saint Andrew’s crucifixion in the year 60 A.D. Although not a traditional celebration by Methodist, we’d like to take the opportunity to celebrate the church and our namesake on Friday, November 30th this year.
We are planning a chili supper (white and red) and would like to invite the congregation, surrounding neighborhood, and local emergency personnel to join us. If you can help with cooking, or delivering invitations, please let the church office know. More details will also be provided in the weekly announcements.
