The Chancel Choir will retire for the summer on May 19, 2019. That will be their last regular performance until the fall. Look for a summer choir piece in July and August though as part of the special summer services.
There will be a recital for Norma Bell’s and Larry Bay’s students on May 13 at 7 PM. If not involved in the Administrative Council meeting, feel free to drop by the church that evening.
Sugar Moon and Mosher Bay dates for May:
- May 3: Sugar Moon will perform at the Gathering Room from 6-9 PM.
- May 4: Mosher Bay will perform at the DeSoto Farmers’ Market from 9-11 AM.
- May 9: Sugar Moon will perform at Coyol from 5:30-8:30 PM.
- May 24: Sugar Moon will perform at LaPachanga in Herculaneum from 5:30-8:30 PM. (Note the change in time.)
Summer Concerts
Front Porch Concerts will also resume in June, July, and August. The Doyen Brothers will perform in June. Barbara and David Duncan are slated for July, and Larry is still scheming about August. These concerts will take place on the second Sunday of each month at 5 PM. For those that are sharp, yes, that’s the same time as Movie Night. The concerts will be in lieu of Movie Night this summer.
