We will host a Blessing of the Backpacks service on Sunday, September 18, 2022 during our morning worship. Students, teachers, and support staff are invited to bring their backpacks, satchels, books, or other tools of the trade to the service. We’ll be celebrating the start of a new school year and praying over our students and schools.
A new school year can be exciting or scary—or both. We can try to make that transition easier by praying to God and giving thanks for the people in our schools. Share this back-to-school prayer with your friends, family, church, and classmates to help prepare for the upcoming year.
